What is NIMELSSA ?
The Nigerian Medical Laboratory Science Students Association (NIMELSSA) is the student body Association of the department of Medical Laboratory Science and is one of the departments of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) under the College of Medicine.

What are the aims and objectives of NIMELSSA
To cater for the welfare and defend the rights of all members of NIMELSSA.
• To protect the image and promote the good name of NIMELSSA, the College of Medicine and University of Lagos both home and abroad.
• To contribute towards the progress of the health sciences in Nigeria.
• To contribute towards the improvement of the health condition of the people of Nigeria by formulating and participating in such programs as health education campaign and other community health programs.
• To positively and constructively identify NIMELSSA and its members with other student’s activities of the University of Lagos and Lagos University Hospital (LUTH)
